CChildren’s Sunday School

Welcome to the Cordata Kids Clubhouse
Our curriculum immerses kids and preschoolers in the gospel through every story, theological concept, and call to mission from Genesis to Revelation. Ultimately, the gospel message changes everything; heart transformation can only take place when a child experiences the gospel. Through The Gospel Project® for Kids curriculum, kids and preschoolers will understand the Bible is not just a collection of stories, but one unified story—God’s story of redemption.
Kids Clubhouse meets every Sunday

April
April begins with Resurrection Sunday! We resume our normal Sunday Morning Clubhouse time on April 12th with unit 14 -The Northern Kingdom. This study continues in the book of 2 Kings and includes the Prophets Elisha, Jonah, and Hosea. We’ll learn how the Northern Kingdom continued to worship idols. How God provided prophets to warn His people to turn away from their sin. In the Jonah lesson we’ll see that while Nineveh repented and was spared God’s judgment, the nation of Israel refused to worship God alone.
KEY PASSAGE: Deuteronomy 13:4
BIG PICTURE QUESTION: Why do Christians continue to sin?
Answer: Christians continue to sin because we still have a sin nature, but when Jesus returns, He will make us sinless like Him.
APRIL LESSONS:
- Elisha the Prophet (2 Kings 2; 4–5)
- Jonah, Prophet to Nineveh (Jonah)
- Hosea, Prophet to Israel (Hosea)
March
We just completed learning about King Soloman’s wisdom and accomplishments. Now we learn how Solomon’s unfaithfulness to God led to a divided and troubled kingdom.
We begin a new study volume this month: Volume 5 – DIVISION AND DEFIANCE
This 13-week study will reveal the many warnings God’s people received—warnings to seek repentance from their sinful, idolatrous ways and turn to God. Because God is holy, good, and loving, He promised a new covenant for His people: one forever written on their hearts.
In March’s study unit: A Troubled Kingdom, we will be introduced to the prophet Elijah and how God demonstrated His presence, power, and preeminence as the one true God.
KEY PASSAGE: 1 Kings 8:60
BIG PICTURE QUESTION: How many gods are there?
Answer: There is only one true God who alone deserves worship
MARCH LESSONS:
- The Kingdom Divided (1 Kings 11–13)
- Evil Kings (1 Kings 14–15; 2 Chronicles 12–13)
- Elijah Confronted Ahab (1 Kings 18–19)
- The Reign of Ahab (1 Kings 20–22; 2 Kings 1)
- *Special Palm Sunday Lesson
