CChildren’s Sunday School

Welcome to the Cordata Kids Clubhouse

Our curriculum immerses kids and preschoolers in the gospel through every story, theological concept, and call to mission from Genesis to Revelation. Ultimately, the gospel message changes everything; heart transformation can only take place when a child experiences the gospel. Through The Gospel Project® for Kids curriculum, kids and preschoolers will understand the Bible is not just a collection of stories, but one unified story—God’s story of redemption.

Kids Clubhouse meets every Sunday

We end our 3-month study in the book of Genesis on March 30th. April lessons begin with the story of Job and how God is good even in suffering. This lesson wraps up Volume 1 of our Gospel Project for Kids study curriculum. We take a break from the GP4K plan for Palm and Easter Sunday lessons. Then we enter Volume 2 “Law and Life: Exodus- Deuteronomy” with study unit 4 entitled “God Delivers His People”.

APRIL LESSONS:

  • The Suffering of Job (Job)
  • Palm Sunday/ Jesus’ Triumphal Entry (Matt 21, Mark 11, Luke 19, John 12)
  • Easter Sunday/ Jesus’ Crucifixion and Resurrection (Matt 26-28, John 20)
  • Begin Unit 4/ God Called Moses (Exodus 1-4)

Holy Week Family Devotional: In addition to the 40-day Lenten Devotional packets headed out prior to Ash Wednesday, we also have a Holy Week devotional for families. The packets have an easy to follow study guide plus a couple of crafts to help entire families focus on these meaningful events of the Passion.

March

We continue our journey in the book of Genesis in the Kids Clubhouse. Kids are learning that God’s promises are true, and He keeps His promises because He is faithful. We can trust God and obey Him knowing He will do what He says.

Unit 3: God is in Control

In March we will see how God is in control of all things in heaven and on earth. Nothing is outside of His good plan. We see this in the lives of Jacob, Joseph, and in early April the story of Job.

God is a faithful promise keeper who is always present with His people despite their difficulties and suffering.
